  The only thing that was the saving grace of the meal I had last night was the server did everything he could to make up for the ridiculous shortage I got with my meal. I ordered the chef special, stuffed salmon which is a $30 plate. Another person at the table ordered the same meal and literally got triple the amount of food that I received. While my friend got a very generous amount of salmon and potatoes I got nothing, my salmon was less than 4 ounces, while the green beans I received were hard, extremely undercooked. I complained and sent it back, the kitchen had the nerve to put a giant heap of mash potatoes that tasted like instant potatoes that they over watered and more undercooked green beans, and didn't bother to give me any more meat. Then to try to make up for their actions, discounted a couple of our desserts. I have been in food service for years, I try not to complain because I know how hard it is, but this was unacceptable.
  
  The atmosphere is obnoxiously loud, between the loud music and the other customers trying to speak over the music as well as each other makes for a cacophony of head splitting noise. Spend some money on sound absorption for crying out loud.
  
  I decided to give them another shot after receiving some of the worst food and service 2 years ago when I joined my family for Thanksgiving dinner for overcooked turkey and nasty stuffing, the service we received was garbage, waiting 20 minutes past our reservation time, waiting over an hour for food. Too bad I didn't seem to get enough the first time around, I went back for seconds. I will not be eating at this restaurant again, overpriced, atmosphere is terrible and the cooks are assholes. If you eat here I hope you like overpaying to get crap food.

  The four of us were very impressed with our experience---food & service were outstanding! Charlie, our server, was great!
  Over all, it was a fabulous experience for our 55th anniversary dinner! Highly recommend McCormick & Shmick's Roseville!

  Our reservation was not in their system. I ordered the 47$ rib eye steak. It was cooked perfectly. Service was good. But the food quality was terrible. Must have been usda choice. Very tuff it turned to grain in my mouth. Could not eat it. Tuna appetizers just didn't taste like tuna. Again I suspect cheap food sources. I guess this is what you get from a chain. The view of the parking lot was depressing. The table are way to crammed. just felt like I might as well be at Dennys. Considering the price they try to charge for cheap meat it just doesn't make sense. Should have got the burger. Over priced poor quality food.
